The Run

This time I’m running the London City Marathon. This is one of the largest runs in the world with over 100,000 entrants. I used to live in London and I’m looking forward to running around some of my old stomping grounds.

As every runner knows, the real ‘run’ is all the training I’ll be doing over the winter. Running before work in the dark and cold. Having said that, I’m not a ‘runner’ at all. There’s few better motivators than knowing your efforts will help others.

The Donkey Sanctuary very kindly gave me a place and I hope to raise great awareness about what they do, the plight of donkeys, and how great donkeys actually are! I also hope to raise much needed funds to help feed and shelter these little dudes.
